The proposed project involves comprehensive civil engineering services by R.C. Fields & Associates, Inc. for the redevelopment of the Old Colony Inn property located at 1101 North Washington Street in Alexandria, Virginia. The project is being processed through the City of Alexandria’s expedited review program under the Engineers & Surveyors Institute (ESI), streamlining plan approvals. Services include concept development, preparation of preliminary and final site plans, and compliance with zoning, stormwater, environmental, and Chesapeake Bay Preservation regulations. Additional tasks include the creation of grading plans, erosion and sediment control strategies, utility coordination, and vehicular access design. The scope also covers record and easement plats, VPDES permit applications, and stormwater pollution prevention planning. Project management is integrated throughout to ensure coordination with the client, design team, and local agencies.
